The reason I bring this up is because it's something I can't see happening in the snyderverse (not just because robin was killed offscreen in bvs). The show was willing to have darker stories but also was willing to have fun moments to keep prevent it from being too off putting for children. The show works because it knew how to strike a balance and was written by people who like DC in general instead of by someone who likes a select couple of elseworld stories.
