the comaland one was made by a legit hollywood editor apparently so it's the only tp fanedit that feels broadcast quality, there are a ton of other fanedits people like though, just browse around and try whichever sound interesting

i was sceptical too but it works really well
all the added scenes from the missing pieces would break the flow of a movie but splitting it up into episodes makes it feel like binging a show, so you can watch one or two a night
and all the missing pieces scenes have the sound and color adjusted to match the movie scenes and there's added music in places and transitions and stuff to make everything fit together

The missing pieces is almost as long as the movie.
I like watching it as a double feature. Missing pieces is a bunch of cut and deleted scenes that were edited together in roughly the same order as FWWM.
But since they're cut scenes it creates this weird surreal dreamlike effect.
It also has some amazing stuff like the extened scene with Jeffries and the apartment over the convenience store.
