He had a good life. 71 is a fine year to have your light snuffed. If he died in his 50s I’d have agreed

>let this be a warning that you too could get rich and world famous and die at a reasonably advanced age before having to deal with your body breaking down or losing your mind to dementia
71 for a pro wrestler is like 109 for a normie

McMahon is almost 80 and has abused steroids as long as Hogan did
I'm in my 40s and was always scared to roid due to my MPB, but if I started in my 20s and was dead by 50, who fucking cares? I'm sure my life would have been better as a buff dude
RIP Brother

arnold didn't beat up his body like wrestlers did week in week out, also the type and quality of roids matter, it's probably half the reason hogan lived as long as he did compared to other wrestlers form his time being more obviously fucked, he was one of the few guys making relatively huge money in an industry that was pretty much carny tier in most places, he would have been getting the best stuff while others were taking anything they could get their hands on.

Hogan barely took bumps after 1984. Even in 1990 for undertakers debut, Hogan was very rectant to take a tombstone piledriver,a very safe type of piledriver. For storyline purposes guys like vader would pick him up and slam him sometimes (and he would no sell it and power up, and then end the match seconds later).

In the late 70s hogan obviously paid his dues as did all wrestlers back then, but his career was as long as it was becauae he had significant storyline control over much of his career and limited what moves he would receiver.
