I fucking hated this character and how hypocritical he was.
There was no question that Gus was going to kill Walt the first chance he gets, fuck he already tried until Gale's death. He even threatened Walts baby daughter. Walt was greedy and ambitious but he also did it out of self defense. And Mike pretending Walt had no other motivation other than greed never sat right with me.

Gus didnt want Walter dead until he killed those Cholos. Thats what Mike meant, he meant you couldnt just abandon Jesse and work exclusively with Gus.
