They raise the stakes super high. Ginormica being introduced was well done seeing his ship and him in full glory . The introduction of Franklin. Again they rais the stakes and nothing happened. I thought the comedy was really good between the 3 gays . I had a decent time at the cinema but the baby fucking freaked me the fuck out through out the movie.
In the big climatic moment where the cgi baby is despairing over Sue's body I felt such a feeling of rejecting what I was watching deep in my soul it was crazy. It was almost horror-movie like for me.

Honestly it's hard to get excited for anything Marvel(F4)or Marvel-ish(Gunns Superman)these days. I didn't even see End Game and all that as my last Marvel film was Iron Man 3. Neither make me want to head to a theater for them and they both look exactly the same as all the other Marvel CGI fests. The Batman 2 can't come soon enough.

I’ve only read Jonathan Hickman’s Famtastic Four but I liked that he wrote Reed as filled with self-doubt over whether he was using his intellect for the betterment of mankind. That seems like easy characterization to use for a movie adaptation of the characters.

Lanterns is said to be reminiscent of True Detective, and Clayface and Swamp Thing will be horror movies, so there's not just camp on the way.
I will say, while Superman did feel kind of Marvel-esque, it's a feelgood movie and the tone felt right.

Just can't do it. Any and all D+ shows just hold none of my interest. I remember liking season 1 of DD and then it all just going to shit. Never watched any of the other shows and I knew they'd make Frank a pussy on his own show, so I avoided Punisher as well. I just don't trust modern Disney/Marvel at all to deliver anything quality.

He's not that in my opinion, and it takes him almost losing Alfred and that gesture by the victim at the end to show him that he's been going about it wrong and he's in the wrong headspace. I don't know, man, again I just loved it. The Batmobile scene where it roars to life like a dragon in a cave. The detective work he and Alfred and Gordon do.
