I was a kid obsessed with wrestling who grew up in the 80's at the peak of Hulkamania who saw this in the theater and tbqh even I knew it was bad at the time. You could feel the collective "meh."
We watched it multiple times on VHS anyway because pickings were a lot slimmer back then and our parents wouldn't let us watch all the cool R rated action movies.
