There is are so many layers to it, not just Sam embarrassing himself with Harland.
Nick looks like he's about to have a heart attack and he's completely torn between diffusing the situation but he holds back because Sam is a literal psychopath cult leader that he knows he cannot cross.
The peak moment of this is when spits out a cookie he ate to appease Harland because he panicked when he realized he broke rank (because Sam said no SEED OILS like some primadonna).

I didn't realize how powerful responding to a question with "nosey" was. Both times Harland did it Sam's crew laughed. The second time when his did it with the age question while having Sam on top of him was hilarious and his his whole crew laughed, pure power, pure non-taking even an iota of Sam seriously.
I don't think Sam got those guys to all laugh together at something once, he's just so unfunny when put on the spot but Harland was just dunking on Sammy.

It's a bit like you're sitting in a bar and there's a group near you who are chatting and laughing and you listen to their conversation and you laugh as well but they don't notice you. Well, the next week, you go there and you sit behind the same guys and the same thing happens.
