Murderman was just disappointed in Lex's body count. He was thinking of a way to make more victims while working on his Mater Plan of stopping Lightside from using the Life Equation to bring back to life all the previous Murderman's kills.

What I love about the new Fantastic Four movie is how much it reminded me of Snyder. Everything with Galactus in New York, idk, something just felt "bigger" and "better". I watched it last night (highest Thursday night opening of the summer) but I'm thinking about watching it again tonight. If you like Snyder you should check it out!
