They are literally seeing these bad movies to see movies. Because they need to take their brat children out of the house for a few hours. That's the only reason. Everyone hated the prequels except children when they came out. I remember seeing it as a kid and my dad was so pissed that he took us to see this Episode III when it came out. He fucking beat me because I thought it was good.

i can track the 'geography' of these scenes better than in the OT tbqh.

i know people want to believe it was all carefully crafted and planned, but i think they just shot 'four X-Wings flying in formation, from left to right' and then stitched scenes together. the motion control and actual models are technically impressive, i just mean where the ships are in 3D space. obviously that's easy with a computer.

I, SISSYcas, JOBBER of the film industry, humbly kneel to:

CHADklasa-sama, my master, who mindraped me into selling Star Wars to white slavers

Iger-sama, my one true love and other master

Cameron-sama, who’s box office I will never surpass

Ewan-sama, who threw the prequels under the bus at the first sight of fan backlash

Coppola-sama, who I will never have more Oscars than

Kennedy-sama, who beat the shit out of me so hard I started being attracted to femdom almost as much as I am attracted to men.

Spielberg-sama, whose incomparabily forceful punches crushed my ass-womb like I was Heather O'Rourke

Abram’s-sama, who abandoned my ideas for the sequel trilogy like a used condom (EVEN THOUGH Iger-sama promised that he would listen to my ideas)

Johnson-sama, who’s movie was so bad that it utterly raped the Star Wars franchise to the point of irrelevance

Filoni-sama, who molested the EU with his wolf cock

Parts of this opening looks good but by 2:00 it starts to hurt how poorly cut together it is, and you instantly notice the awful dialog.
It kind of sucks. There is a firm dose of how much Lucas sucks in this fairly short opening.

it is the best part in terms of production but i would have preferred more emphasis on the galactic politics rather than the character drama and explosions. You would think that following the growing up route of Anakin (1th episode catering to kids) 3rd would trust their audience to be mature enough for that.

That dialog is dogshit... a few frames of a space battle followed by some of the worst fucking dialog ever put on screen... Ani and Ben just playing off of each other like some married couple for 5 minutes while they encounter silly resistance on their way to the Emperors flag ship..

A bit irrelevant, but Filoni's job was to tard wrangle Lucas, himself and the writers regarding universe continuity. Don't believe me? Here's directly from the cunt that hired him herself:
>“I wouldn’t say [he approves] everything; I wouldn’t say everything. He is big picture. He comes in at key moments,” agreed producer Catherine Winder. “No, when we were developing the [movie as] a TV series, since I didn’t know exactly what he wanted and needed to get inside his head, I would bring him in at specific milestones that I knew were key to the development – if we went off track here in his mind, we’d be in trouble. We’d have big milestone meetings with Dave, myself, him and whoever the artist was for whatever we were working on, and he’d give us notes and thoughts…he trusted Dave in terms of knowing the characters, being true to the universe, and taking care of continuity issues with vehicles and planets and that sort of thing. He didn’t really need to get involved from that point of view.”

Looks like HDTV version. At any rate, looks like shit, and not George Lucas-approved. Blu-ray is how he intended for the film to always look, and 100% representative of his complete and final vision. Just like the Special Editions of the original trilogy. Deal with it.

People are allowed to change their minds but calling it final is stupid because if Lucas changes his mind again and makes another version then that one becomes the "definite/final" version.
I do like a lot of changes in the special editions but there are many ugly ones aswell where technology clearly wasn't ready at the time.
So the first version that releases should be considered the final version unless there is some studio/exec bullshit going on behind the curtains.

Yes, the Riddick movies. The second movie is fairly weak but the third is pretty good if you like Pitch Black. The forth movie is in production now.

>Why didn’t those little mechanical gremlin droids just explode?
While that would've been better against small targets like Obi Wan's starfighter, a buzz droid payload would be far more effective than a little explosion against large targets. They can just keep lasering through hulls on and on.
