How many movies have you watched this year /tv/? I'm at 102. Every year I try to do that 365 challenge bullshit but I never even come close. I genuinely don't know how people manage to watch that many movies.

Like ten. I used to watch well over 100 movies a year but I can't find anything enjoyable anymore. I just shitpost, drink and gamble on obscure sports leagues.

My letterboxd tells me it's 73, though that's only the films I've done reviews for. I don't read other peoples' reviews, and I only write them for myself. Other years I watch more or less, depending on if I decide to do some Franchise or Seasonal marathon, like when I watched all the Bond movies over the Summer of 2021, or all the Freddy & Jason films in October of 2020. My number this year is only so high so early because last December I started watching every theatrical DC movie (all the way back to the 1930s Captain Marvel serial) in anticipation of Superman 2025.
I could never do the 365 challenge. Not just because I'd wanna have time for other things, but because watching movies too often can get boring.

I can't ever go beyond 65 but now im at 56 for this year because this time I'm literally just forcing myself to watch shit i never wanted to watch ever but ngl some were good tho
