THIS HAS TO STOP
What I just watched was some random movie and concepts dressed up in a Fantastic Four veneer, pretending to be Fantastic Four. The MCU needs to BURN TO THE GROUND.

>*single handedly defeats Galactus*
Huh? Why didn’t she just do that at the beginning?
>let's create one hour and twenty minutes of filler
>galactus is really slow guiz
>*galactus arrives*
>15 minutes of movie left
>galactus is about to step in the teleporter
>sue is nowhere to be found so she can't knock in him in using her powers
>after surviving a flying car crash she manhandles Galactus across the city without much difficulty
>dies for no reason
>only to get resurrected by her OP son

>Gunn was basically the only turbo comics fan at the MCU and blew the other writers out of the water so fucking hard DC asked him to run their universe
>Beau DeMayo was the only turbo comics fan working on animated marvel stuff and X-Men 97 basically resurrected the X-Men’s public image after years of slop, and completely mogged other animated marvelslop like What If

Literally what is the reason to not hire fans when the results have been so good? Unless at the top level they just have utter disdain for what they’re adapting?

The baseball cap wearing faggot is the reason. High on his own supply of "successful big screen adaptation".

This is an IP for men and boys, putting gays kissing, women in burkas, baggy clothing and not having muscle suits also avoided the audience and girls and women really likes cheesecake

Why didn't Sue just make the trap invisible so Galactus wouldn't find it? Reed was shown earlier in the movie to know to tell her to make things invisible (like the ship) to hide from Galactus.

Why did Reed decide to teleport the entire Earth before deciding to just teleport Galactus?

Why did the Thing canonically have more screen time cooking and talking about food and visiting synagogues than smashing anything?

Why does the Human Torch look like a Jew in whiteface and doesn't hit on anyone in the movie at all? In fact, his sister Sue hits on more people than he does ("Ladies, my brother is single!" While Johnny looks around perturbed)

Why does Reed's costume meant to stretch alongside him start ripping when it's stretched?

Why did Sue's powers start killing her? This was never explained. She used them while giving birth but that took no effort out of her, and using them while healthy and fresh drained her. Why?

Why was Galactus's scale constantly different and wrong? I know he can change size but this is never explained in the movie, so how would any viewer know that?

Why does the cartoon parody in the movie deliver Thing's line of "It's clobberin' time!" actually deliver the line better than the literal actor in the movie?

Why was this movie the most focus tested movie made by Disney of all time?

How does this relate to the criticisms being discussed, ESL retard?

It always seemed to me that Gunn had a great knowledge of comics and that was reflected in both Supergirl and the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.
By the way, Sam Raimi is also a big comic book reader and has a huge collection.
Guillermo del Toro I think only likes creepy comic shit like Hellboy.
Tim Burton on the other hand is not a big fan of comics but still his Batman movies are beautiful.

all of that is explained in the movie. try paying minimal attention next time you watch movie. i mean it's movie for kids basically and you can't understand anything about it apparently

Yes, both things fit well into the Batman universe.

I do wonder how long this shit will keep on going .The last movies couldn't have made their insane budget back in any way, how long until Disney finally pulls the plug? After Doom fails as well?

Burton is the reason Batman got to be comic accurate, he explicitly wanted a darker, more adult Batman because of the The Dark Knight Returns hype. The overall feeling amongst boomer normies around that time was that Batman had to be campy because that was the Batman they grew up with, there’s a reason the Schumacher abominations got greenlighted in the first place and sounded like a safe bet

same producers who didnt want Tolkien historians to be part of Rings of power season 1. You ask yourself how these fags get to those jobs in the first place.

I think you only say that now because Tim Burton influenced Batman so much with his gothic style and aesthetic

This applies to every franchise btw
Comic books, anime, video games, star wars etc

fans and nerds are never allowed to adapt because hollywood is about subversion

What´s new? Studios buy properties because established names put a security net under the investment. There is no shortage of people that would consume due to brand recognition. It is far faster and safer than making anything original not to mention the insurances cost less and pay more as well. They just check how much the associated merchandise sells and infer potential interest.

After that it´s just a matter to aim for the larger audiences by introducing pop culture elements and contemporary social issues as topics. It´s not a matter of being faithful to the original or making timeless classics, it´s just about instant gratification of a highly consumerist society or, failing that, collecting insurance money.

And all the political stuff? Just there to avoid accountability. Movies don´t fail because of shit quality or because they desecrate source materials or anything like that. Any and all rejection is always due to political views. That kind of excuse along with the insurance money is enough to remain in business in spite of failure. In short, movies and shows no longer need to be good to make profit and profit is all that matters.

Too bad there’s no honest cultural critique in the west, because the way the comic book industry destroyed itself chasing the mythical “modern audience” needs some study
They didn’t just alienate their faithful fanbase, they downright asked them to fuck off and still, after over 15 years, those women/fags/commies refuse to read their shit
I think many industries got some marketing studies claiming Gen Z was going to be most commie generation and started to destroy any sense of masculinity from their catalog, and now you have a bunch of young, brown, angry men watching Andrew Tate because they are craving for the shit you used to get from comic books, bro magazines, male-geared tv, etc
