Orcas are niggers. Humpback whales
are the chads of the ocean
>His research analyzed 115 interactions that took place between humpbacks and killer whales, observed by more than 54 individuals โ€” scientists and non-scientists โ€” in ocean locations around the world and spanning 62 years, from 1951 through 2012.

>The study found that large and powerful humpback whales, the only whales known to attack orcas, will band together and sometimes travel great distances to interrupt and terminate a killer whale attack, regardless of what type of animal the orca is attacking.

Has there ever been a game where you play as a regular wild animal and the aim of the game is just to hunt prey and survive? The closest I've played was Deadly Creatures, but that turned into a bug-themed hack n' slash pretty quickly.

Id love to hear how you imagine this supposed rescue operation going. Even assuming they have a helicopter do you really think its got seal airlifting capabilities? Do you know how much a seal weighs? And do you suppose the seal is just gonna cooperate with the filmmakers and not just run away in a panic and straight into the maws of the orcas?

>Orcas are the main natural predators of humpback whales Visible scars indicate that orcas prey upon juvenile humpbacks.[28] A 2014 study in Western Australia observed that when available in large numbers, young humpbacks can be attacked and sometimes killed by orcas. Mothers and (possibly related) adults escort calves to deter such predation. The suggestion is that when humpbacks suffered near-extinction during the whaling era, orcas turned to other prey but are now resuming their former practice.[62]

I realise it's a very 2deep4you point, but at the end of the day, nature can be reduced to that, by some cosmic horror, abiotic material assembled in such a way to allow self-replication. Everything since then has just been that first instruction repeating over and over in increasingly more complex organisms, and any kind of deviation from that code necessarily doesn't live on. You are, as a human living in the 21st century, at the very least partially watching it through the lens of that all this pointless brutality is occurring because we were set on this unstoppable course by a piece of shit strand of DNA some 4.5 billions of years ago. Mother Nature meanwhile is a relic from a time when humans hadn't seen as far as we have, and the world felt more infused with meaning, including even its moments of brutality

What? What do you think this even means? And abiogenesis wasn't an evolutionary event. That necessarily only happens after. We know that nucleotides can be polymerised by prebiotic, simply statistical processes. The probability of it emerging into anything of the length that supports self-replication is extremely unlikely, yes, but processes that can do it are understood

Majority of them don't, sadly, so they end up writing bad philosophy. They follow the data like divine commands. Evolution is just one way to think about things. But go show any skepticism to this idea and you'll piss off biology professors all over the world.

I don't know how to make sense of whatever scientists say. This has killed my curiosity.

Don't want to be rude, but it seems more likely that you're just a victim of the anti-intellectualism currently pushed by the powers that be. You haven't actually spoken to anyone with a degree, asked them if they believe axioms are necessarily true, and had someone answer that they are with a straight face. Yes, it's an uncomfortable truth of this universe that all our knowledge is built on axioms that we cannot and may not ever know whether are true or not, but that's just how it is. In fact I think you're going to find a lot more scientists who will concede this to you than if you asked some random off the street. Yes, you can show skepticism and le just be asking questions, but if your alternative to the theory of evolution isn't based on anything, most people aren't going to waste their time lol

Why are fags here crying about orcas so much? They are awesome, military grade precision and discipline in their hunts, most of it taught and trained. They dominate every single ocean and some freshwater spots too. They hunt great whites by flipping them over because they have learned that it puts them to sleep and then they just eat their livers and leave the rest. One ecotype even hunts shored animals in a risky maneuver that they teach each other and practice for years.

They are the kings of the seas and yet deeply respect humans, they are awesome.

Most seals probably not, maybe some of the more aggressive ones like hooded or elephant seals would attack if you approached them, leopards are a mixed bag. I can only think of two major leopard encounters, in one the leopard grabbed a diver and drowned her at the bottom of the ocean, possibly for fun, the other time it kept grabbing a penguin and trying to force the diver to take it like it thought we were retarded

>Oh noooo not my heckin' valid sealorino!!! That instinct-driven low-IQ animal was gonna become a doctor!!!
It's literally nature doing what it does. Stop personifying everything. If you eat meat you have no place to even have this perspective as a literal industrial holocaust of cows and chickens occur daily to feed your maw.
