Sawyer's backstory is 10x the kino of Jack's. Ben's youth and fall is what makes him better as well. Desmond is Jack but not a leader and less of an ass. The only time I want a jack episode is after seeing a Charlie or Hurley episode. Locke is the best but everybody is afraid to admit it because it sounds like too predictable of an answer.

Locke is a genuinely unintelligent faggot with an inflated ego. He made the same mistake over and over and over again in life. It landed him in a wheelchair with one kidney and it lost him love.

He then gets to a magical island, has a chance to put all that behind him, and he immediately gets "chosen one" syndrome and does all of his stupid bullshit again. Only to realize as he was dying that he was used again by yet another person smarter than his stupid ass.

Locke is not a hero or a visionary or a great man, he is a cautionary tale.
