Just watched Kill List after get recomended here and I didn't get the movie. There are many unanswered questions after the ending. Also, I don't know if it can be really classified as a horror movie.

So I have this "Elvira" CD that's actually some guitarist doing covers of horror themes and stuff, but it's pretty good. Was at Dollar Tree when they had music.

>androids in the films follow an ABCD rhyme scheme with outliers being riffs on the pre-existing droids (Walter for Walter Hill because David is for David Giler, Rook riffing off the chess themed name of Bishop)
>uhhh screw it just name them after the Lost Boys
Even though they're trying to be creative and do their own thing, it stills feels lazy, like they couldn't find a way to continue playing the game all the previous writers played with each other. And Peter Pan is a less impressive literary allusion than Ridley's /lit/fagging in Covenant.
Also, the writer said he was ignoring Prometheus and Covenant so I automatically care less. Baby only wants to play with his childhood toys? The best part of Romulus was the goo stuff and the engineer mutant, the worst was Aliens retreading. As MLK once said, "I have a dream that we can move on from James Cameron's myopic vision for this franchise."

>the engineer mutant
idk that somehow felt like an even less inventive retread than all the standard xeno tropes they pulled out in Romulus. like it was the big finale of the film and they go, ok lets just take the engineer from Prometheus and the proto xenomorph thing from Prometheus and combine them. it was not that different from just a Prometheus. I get it's trying to tie the lore in but it's copying homework.
Romulus would have been way more epic if it had ended in a unique way. Like she's actually an android and doesn't know it, and gives birth to some horrific android robo-xeno. or have it birth some kind of queen chrysalis orb that has self defense mechanisms. idk there's just so many options it sucked they went with baby retard.

It's just taking an edgy shit comic like Invincible or The Boys to adapt because that's trendy and giving it to a guy who did an edgy funny movie that was pretty much that comic.

>In a small town a solitary woman is haunted by voices that lead her to assassinate ill intended people and get away with it, until her last kill sucks her down a rabbit hole riddled with corruption, trafficking and visions from the beyond.
>Based on a novel
>Features Bella Thorne, Ryan Phillippe, and Rebecca De Mornay
>Directed by Mitzi Peirone, who also directed Braid (2018), which is fucking weirdkino

When did Elvira come out as bisexual and reveal she's been dating a woman since the early 2000s or late 90s? Was that pre- or post-pandemic?
I can't keep track because everything since like 2017 has blended together and feels like it's all stagnated.
