Pretty much the same plot as most of the Dirty Harry movies.
Cop that pisses off the Mayor and Chief of police gets assigned duties that they hope gets him killed.
Pretty standard theme for cop shows back then. Now it's about hero minority cops that fight the evil white supremist cops.

this movie was boring as fuck. both times I 'watched it' i get to the part where he cuts his left over pizza with scissors, fall asleep, and wake up to them finishing a shootout at what looks like a rural motel.
