The only time a rodent has entered a kitchen and not caused a lawsuit
>>213121122 (OP)Not really, no. 6/10 and very forgettable.
It did well domestically, but it could've done better if it wasn't for the fifth Harry Potter movie and the first Transformers movie

i'm not surprised at all that the chuds on here hate this movie, they're incapable of relating to anything unless it's through the lens of themselves
Why has nobody posted it yet?
>>213121509Bird didn't come up with the concept tho. Jan Pinkava did.
>>213121555The concept isn't what's exceptional about ratatouille, it's basically looney tunes tier. It's the directing and writing that make it special. Both of which brad bird had a hand in.
>>213121122 (OP)3d animation is soulless 100% of the time
>Take a good long look, Remy. This is what happens when a rat gets a little too comfortable around humans. The world we live in belongs to the enemy. We must live carefully. We look out for our own kind, Remy. When all is said and done, we're all we've got
>....No
>What?
>No. Dad, I don't believe it. You're telling me, that the future is - can only be - more of this?
>This is the way things are. You can't change nature
>Change is nature, dad. The part that we can influence. And it starts when we decide
>Where are you going?
>With luck, forward
It's overrated shit, bro. Even when it came out and got it's dick sucked by everyone it didn't make sense.
>Oh it's le art
Is it? It's an entirely typical Pixar movie for the era.
>Muh Brad Bird
It has smart direction sure, but it doesn't save a movie full of unlikeable characters and forced soul cooking scenes for padding.
It isn't even bad, but who cares? The whole thing is too focused on the terrible people characters where the "hero" is a pissy nepobaby who really never learns shit about jack. Remy is maybe the only likeable character with real screentime, besides Chef Boyardee and the midge.
I thought this in 2007 and always will. It's kind of boring, it's kind of thin, and in all honesty Cars is a better and more soulful picture.
are French women really like this?
