As this scene begins a teenage hispanic theater employee walks in, holding up his phone to the screen while it plays the song "nasty nasty" by lil boosie. This is one of those things that makes people seem alien to me. What don't they like about it? Do they even know or are they just collectively going along with what others told them to think? Theoretically, if I wanted to see it I'd have to travel 2 hours and 34 minutes, and find a place to park in an area that charges something like 20-25 bucks to park, then find a hotel or drive back after the ending. No way I was doing any of that. Guess I'll wait for the North American DVD release, if that ever happens, shit, I'd love to talk and bullshit about this film if I ever fuggin see it. I think it was the best movie of 2024. Not because it was a perfect movie but because it was great to see such an experimental movie of ideas. Also it filtered like 90% of the population. It's like Southland Tales. It's a Rorschach Test. It's also best viewed in chunks instead of straight through. It's a lot to take in.
