yeah I can get that. I always just picked random SW books at my local library so didn't worry about them being canon to each other. Back then there was no online wiki that I knew of (I only got internet in like 2001) so it was easy to enjoy the stories separately and I never read nearly enough of them to start thinking about how they connected to each other, kinda like the Elminster books.
