Iron Man, Captain America and Thor are so defined by their actors now, it's like Wolverine and Jackedman, a cast too soon would piss fans off.
Waiting until a decade or more has passed and then recasting them is the right move.

That's why I liked Deadpool and Wolverine. All the jokes about Hugh Jackman being Wolverine until he's 90 and the ending with him saying something along the lines of, "See you in the sequel?" and him just flat out saying no. Until they actually do a sequel, the joke will be in good standing, but I doubt Ryan has the pull, goodwill, or bad sense to even try for another one.

and this is exactly why Dr.Strange has not taken the mantle as the face of the MCU post endgame, marvel does not a repeat of what they are going through now where they have have half the budget to to the main actors because they are so popular and the films will flop without them

Well there's still lots of similarities but The Russo Brothers said they'd only come back if they did Secret Wars (1984). And they already paid the recently dearly departed Jim Shooter. Did he even get a chance to spend the money.

So what's the deal with Captain America? I dont watch these movies. Did he die or quit? He quits in the comics. And is replaced with the Super Patriot guy. So I assume thats what they mean. Although thats not the case in Secret Wars (1984) but still. Although Captain America technically died in Secret Wars (1984) and gets brought back to life. I bet most people don't remember that and think Im mistaken. Its a big technicality.

US Agent (Falcon and Winter Soilder TV series) does become the new CA but is fired after he killed someone in cold blood, Sam Wilson (Falcon) becomes the new CA, Bucky became a congressman and joined the "new avengers" (thunderbolts) which is a rag tag team of anti hero's, like John walker, ghost, nu black widow.
