I just watched season 3 recently. Pretty much the whole season was very bad except for the hide and seek episode, which was good but i think they killed off 1 too many notable characters at once. Gi hun was basically a vegetable the entire season. Not only that, but him going after the kid who was really just scared was alittle TOO retarded and out of character. There have been many characters to do worse things and Gi HUn doesn't go after them. He literally met the front man and didn't even attempt to ask him who his superiors were, or who the VIPs were. The old lady and the pregnancy thing got a bit too much screentime with some repetitive dialogue and scenes. The policeman and the captain plotline was basically complete filler and got basically a non-ending. Police guy is one of the biggest retards in the show. The VIPs were especially cringe this season. Horrible CGI dog and baby. The last game sucked. The whole season felt like they stretched out 3 or 4 episodes to fit 6 episodes. This was one of the worst seasons of television i've ever watched.

It does look like the writer didn't know what to do. He went in a direction in s2 and found a dead end so he completely backtracked in s3 with the hero having no real objective. I systematically fast forwarded the b-plot with the cop. It was just filler like season 1. But the worse is that at the end, it's only about the money. Frontman gives Gi hun's money to his daughter and say it's his last xish, which is a lie. He gives the reward to his brother wjo has the baby... And that's it. Maybe Gi hun should have enjoyed the money and let players play.
