Tien is my favorite character. The last human to stay relevant and he did it in the most badass way possible. This scene in the funimation dub with the Faulkener OST is kino. The added filler of dragging on the scene for longer just makes it so epic compared to the Kai version.

So, I tried to watch DBZ again but holy fuck, the Namek Saga took everything in me to finish. It really was different when you were in middle school and watching it broadcasted, often times watching the same episodes multiple times. I switched to Kai and now I have to deal with different deliveries and lines, and the godawful redrawn scenes that take you out of the fucking show with how unbelievably bad they're drawn.

Seriously, I don't understand how you're supposed to be doing this grand return and this time you're going to fix all the issues with the show, which I don't mind having more manga accurate dialogue, but then absolutely fuck it up with outsourcing to studios that made it look worse than some early 00s flash games.
