What are the most predictable "plot twists" you've seen in film/tv?

All the twists in picrel especially one involves make-up and every movie by that director.
De Palma's Hitchcockian films.
Incendies
Goodnight Mommy
Fracture
Westworld s01 and Mr Robot s01, only watched the first season for both.

The whole series was told from the viewpoint of a very unreliable narrator. In this particular picture you see that he's been in jail the whole season and not living back with his mother which the previous episodes had shown.

they were supposed to be on a space ship btw originally lost was gonna be scifi which is why the smoke monster has machine noises and doesn't fit with the rest of the stupid spiritual/MAGNETS stuff. would've been a lot more interesting

People were saying this from season one and all the writers and actors had to lie to our fucking face for five plus years.

Me and my woman just watched pic related. She called it five minutes in. I was kinda pissed to be honest but it was a solid movie over all.

Does Barbarian count? It's so unsubtle that it hardly counts as a twist, but apparently some people were actually surprised by the former house owner being a serial killer/rapist. As soon as they showed the "scary" incest woman clearly enough to tell that she wasn't supernatural, I thought it was incredibly obvious. What a shitty, overrated movie, I'll never get my two hours back from watching Poughkeepsie Tapes for Redditors

You might have figured that something was amiss and some scenes were clearly masking some other reality, but if you somehow guessed that Craig Robinson was a prison warden with a goddamn side business of human trafficking that he operated from inside the prison, I kind of call bullshit, that's the wackiest conclusion to jump to.
It's very obvious in retrospect, almost ridiculously so, in fact, but I'm pretty sure the majority of people would just assume Dark Army shenanigans and Elliot just straight admitting to himself that he is a shizo.

There is one trope that is so common that at least a few authors have made fun of it when writing their own stories:
> when a man and woman take an immediate dislike to each other, they're certain to fall in love by the end of the movie

Finally a Mr. Robot thread. Despite there being like 8 trannies and a bunch of gay guys , this show’s atmosphere and soundtrack is unmatched.

Not sure about "predictable". More like "the deception never fools anyone for an instant".

A supposedly male character turns out to be a female character in disguise. But she never looks even remotely male.

I loved how they shot the scenes taking place in the 80s as if it was a 50s movie with the primary colors and the widescreen. It added to the unsettling nature of the guy.

In regards to the twist in OP's picrel, it makes perfect sense. In regards to the whole show? It again all makes sense. People like to throw shit at the show for representing events from Elliot's perspective in a stylized way and make it seem like "it's all in le head!!" when in reality all the events do happen.

The "dead daughter is from the future" thing was so obvious that I was confused by the movie screeching to a halt to explain it to the audience.

In the movie Oblivion you're supposed to be surprised that the scavengers are humans.

When the badass hero of the film who never uses a gun or never fights or whatever the I don't do that rule is.... suddenly is 10/10 at it with some well I never said I was bad at it quip at the end.
It's the weakest of all twists being it's barely even a twist at all.
