I personally love the movie, but even when it comes to movie I dislike I can’t imagine letting it make me worked up enough that I start raging online and lashing out, insulting people who don’t have the exact same opinion as me. I’m not offended or angered that you didn’t like it because I understand that it’s a very peculiar stylized and strange movie, it’s not for everyone. went to arizona once and genuinely thought i had stumbled into a giant community theater production of idiocracy. every conversation was about trucks, guns, or how the sun “builds character.” asked someone where the nearest bookstore was and they told me “we don’t got one of those but the gas station sells crossword puzzles.”

every building was beige, every meal came with ranch, and every local acted like sunscreen was a government psyop. nice people, sure, but i left feeling like i lost a few IQ points just breathing the same air. never again.
