how is this any different from Marvel pushing out Edgar Wright out of Ant-Man and Scott Derrickson out of Dr. Strange 2? I was hoping Gunn might learn from Feige's mistakes, not replicate them. Hire filmmakers with visiona and let them do their thing ffs, don't push out a bland corporate product

Guadagnino's style genuinely doesn't fit Sgt. Rock. Gunn said he will give directors some freedom but the scripts have to be good and more or less fitting the characters.
