Why is /tv/ so slow and boring now?
There is nothing funny or creative, just endless threads about comic book movies and their box office results. And fucking political rage bait

Because Hollywood purged all its talent during the cultural revolution of 2016-2021, and now all they can do is endlessly remake UnderpantsMan and Blumhouse's StinkyPooPoo Man over and over. Hollywood is dead.

Late postmodernism as is.

I found a funny thing to do today, chatgpt knowledge cutoff is june 2024, so it thinks biden is president and running again. You can turn off its search tease this effective 2024-normie with the subsequent developments. E.g. i let it search only the USAID website, and it's like 'oh... it's shut down'? and I mete out 'why do you think that might have happened?' it's got no idea.

Americans have ruined it.
It used to be Television & Film, now it's Political Bait & "Movies"

Ads drown anything out, I think 4Chan even deletes threads with too much engagement. I see organic threads disappear while marketing slop with no new comments are recycled back in.

This. The film industry is running on fumes, and streamers are just churning out slop that only has to be engaging enough to keep people “watching” while they look at their phones. We live in a cultural wasteland.

why is the interest board about a media format in which nothing new or good is being released so slow and boring?

Honestly, its like because of the stupid Jew shit or something. I feel that there are lots of shows that are refused to talk about because they have Jews in them.

Do you think The Studio really deserved maybe 3 threads total? Its funny as hell and about to get Best Comedy. But it has a Jew so wahh wahh. Nobody talks about anything like Hacks, Matlock, Twisted Metal, White Lotus barely, more stuff I could name never gets threads.

Zoomers. Ruined the internet. If you go to any general on any board it’s just zoomers reposting twitter links.

best quality show currently airing is foundation, nothing much to talk about
its not helping that 10000 jeets are spamming superman threads non-stop

This board has been taken over completely by zoomers now. If people were actually interested in talking about films, there would be a discussion about them throughout the century, but it's relegated to /film/.
Oh and trust me, no matter how bad this board can get, it will always be better than /v/.
