Yup. The characters are day and night. This shared difference between the characters is what caused the showdown between the two in the Dark Knight Returns. But in BVS itโ€™s Batman wanting to stop Murderman

If you read the comics most of the DC big events ends with Superman battling the big villain that killed trillions on a major city with vast destruction all around everyone. Basically something ten times worse than anything shown in MoS.
Or Superman being mind-raped and turning evil so the Justice League has to fight him, with Wonder Woman specifically often being used as the big hero that stops Superman. This since the 2000s.
