The whole debate was fucking bad, but I think this was the one where Peterson told people to read The Communist Manifesto if you wanted to learn about Communism, and not Das Kapital. He also said in that debate that he thought Marx never mentioned nature or man’s relationship with it. It’s funny to think that Peterson thought he was gonna blow everyone’s mind with that “revelation.”
It was clear he had never even read any of that shit, and look, even if you have your beliefs about Communism or Marxism or whatever, you should, as a philosopher, attempt to read the original source material to learn as much as you can so you can make your own informed decision yourself.
Him fucking the pooch on that debate in general showed everyone (and really helped lay the groundworks for future "debates") just how unserious he is in actually tackling ideas and just how much of a charlatan he really is to normalfags.
