Pine has killed it in just about every movie I've seen him in. He's the only good part of the shitty Wonder Woman films. so much so they brought him back from the dead for the second one.

He's almost always had white hairs in his beard. If the resolution is high enough you'll see them on his chin even on old pics! They just continuously multiplied as time went by and now reached a point where his chin is uniform white. Which is very visible and creates a contrast, hence why it feels he suddenly aged a lot. And contrary to the hair on his head it can't really be dyed in a way to look natural, so Pine probably just decided to embrace it.
