How come lost media people only want to find baby shows or footage of people dying?
How come nobody wants to find normal stuff, like lost silent films?

The good cut of The Magnificent Ambersons is rotting somewhere in humid Brazil yet no one is making any effort to find it.
I always fount the contrast between this apathy towards classics and wild enthusiasm for 4K restored boutique bluray issued trash absolutely fascinating

Why dont lost mediafags just asked director actor scriptwriter or people who worked in the film (if they are still alive) about what's going on in their lost media film? Boomer never thought about this and it has been proven by the fact that nobody knows a single plot about london after midnight or full 9 hour cut of greed. Erich von strotheim was still alive in 1950 and he played the cuck husband in sunset boulevard, why dont nobody ask him about his 9hr film greed when he was still alive back then? Now the nigga is dead and the plot, story, everything related to the film have practically lost forever.
Now to avoid the same mistake why dont people ask the still alive crew on what is happening in their lost media stuff, what is happening in event horizon and which part that got cut specifically for example? Like, the answer is there if you're asking the right people dude, browsing the net wont give you anything, someone needs to do something

What are you talking about? The plot of London After Midnight is on wikipedia.
No, forget that. You can read the whole script right here:

Yeah it's pretty stupid. Who cares about some Spongebob Burger King ad from 2002? Also a lot of the supposedly "lost" media isn't really lost, it's still in an archive somewhere but just isn't available to the general public any more, rather than genuinely lost media like lost Doctor Who episodes from the 60s.

Most of those lost movies are really lost. They used to use this highly flammable film called celluloid which in the early days was the only thing available. That shit went up if you looked at it sideways and it got stored irresponsibly. Nosferatu being found was a miracle but I doubt there's hope for alot of what's missing. Something like 70% of silent films are lost forever.

they do, but the people involved in lost media stuff are really autistic, so it turns the creators off.
