Everything is pre-cooked and kept in little drawers after a certain time they stop cooking breakfast patties and eggs.
When I worked at McDonald's if there were extra breakfast things in the warming trays they would make it for a person but the time to go back into the freezer and pull out the box of breakfast slop to cook again is not worth it and absolutely slows down the operation especially during the lunch rush(until they started doing all day breakfast which fucking sucked as an employee)

Like most of the film this is a parody inversion of reality. Nobody goes to a fastfood place for their shitty breakfast. They shouldn't even have breakfast, they should serve actual food if they want to be open.
It's so fucking aggravating to be on a 5h drive and you stop for gas halfway but you can't get food because they are only serving breakfast for the next half hour.
It makes it an even bigger fuck you to the customer that the food takes no effort, there is absolutely 0 inconvenience to them to serve what you want, but they prefer turning people away for not buying the more overpriced eggs.
