In the same way that the younger generations call everyone over the age of 50 "boomers", the older generations have spent decades calling everyone under 30 "millennials".
They've slowly readjusted that and now everyone under ~30 is a zoomer and everyone 30-45 is a millennial. Scott was speaking before the readjustment happened.
