Superman.
He leveled the entire city and only actively tried to save like 5 people, why would anyone think he's not a fucking psycho?

Metropolis normally has low level rates of crime because no one is so retarded as to go where they could posibly have to fight supes.

He was battling Zod and he didn't really have any time to save people.

He was definitely portrayed as wrong in this context. But it's understandable. His reasoning is basically "we can't take the risk, no matter how low it is."

This scene is wonderfully filmed and acted. I love the contrast of the red background. Irons and Affleck are both seasoned actors who know their line deliveries. The music is also on point, with it being neither heroic or evil. It's just heavy.

The line is clunky but the general idea of Batman seeing the Metropolis fight in MoS and thinking "holy shit this guy is a living WMD and answers to no one, the world isn't safe with him around" is reasonable, although generally that's more of a Lex Luthor thing than a Batman thing. As with most of the movie, it's the kernel of a good idea surrounded by a bunch of baffling decisions. Superman as a metaphor for the September 11 attacks and having his appearance change Batman's calculus when it comes to crime-fighting isn't on its own an awful idea, although, again, BvS is kind of just a big mash-up of "not-on-their-own-terrible-ideas" that ended up as a weird, mixed-up mess.

The movie doesn't contradict this. It's Lex that feeds Bruce false info for the sole purpose of pushing him over the edge against Superman. The bombing at the senate hearing convinces Bruce that democracy can't contain Superman.

Hey, remember when Cavillman charged at Zod, slamming him through cornfields, then directly into the main street of smallville? Good thing he couldn't have directed him anywhere else.

Seeing as how he's the planet's only line of defense for threats as strong as himself the 99% chance he's tellling the truth should probably outweigh the 1% chance he's secretly evil.

He's fucking right and you know it. Humanity can never be truly free while a Superjew capable of leveling cities lords over mankind and makes independant decision about our fate. Plus Superfag already shown himself to be emotionally unstable when he chimped out at Zod and was manipulated by Lex. He's like a nuclear warhead that doesnt answer to any nation and can be blackmailed into taking over the world.

I used to laugh at his motivations but when you actually look at the absurd death toll that Snyderman is directly responsible for in his movies it actually makes sense.

This dude was flying around leveling skyscrapers, throwing his opponent into explosive oil tanks, aggressively bringing fights into towns with major civilian populations present. Even when enemies weren't present Snyderman was killing people, like when he let his dad die to a random ass category 5 tornado or wiped out power to a full town by using power lines to destroy some guy's 18 wheeler. Snyderman was not a hero.

He was listening to his father. No point in saving his mother; people might find out he was Superman if he did that, so he had to play it cool. If she dies she dies

This is paranoid and broken Batman. Imagine if, in TDK, Batman didn't shut down the monitoring system. Sacrificing freedom for safety, etc. etc. etc.
