This is a weird argument to make, because there are tons of Catholic elements in the books / films, but one religious theme is much like another so you can attribute it to another religion if you'd like. The creator himself said it was supposed to be a Catholic perspective so there's that.
The one religion that is not at all present in LotR, however, is Judaism or the Talmud. Those themes talk about eating children, raping non jews, killing non jews, hate crimes for the sake of hate crimes etc. There is absolutely no Talmud representation in LotR because that's a disgusting religion for perverted pigs.
