The clueless Jeremy Jahns has panned this, as with every other midwit contentslopper. They're all wrong. This is well worth seeing as a return to silly "so bad it's good" movies (it's not cheap irony either) & as a redpill on cyber security.

A brilliant movie that is going to IQ bell-curve filter everyone except the bottom and top 15%.

Only criticism: they should have considered playing NWA Fuck Tha Police at the end.

This is barely an adaptation of War of the Worlds at all. It's a complete travesty of the source material, but not in the typical Hollywood hack rubbish way. They just use the setting as a way to tell an allegory about the apocalyptic nature of full spectrum digital surveillance. The only real use of the ip is when they have the US president say the line "I guess it's a war of the worlds" (paraphrase) in as lame & stilted a manner possible kek.
