I too was filtered by it the first time I watched it, once you let go of your expectations you'll appreciate it more. It gets better with each rewatch

Reminder that Kim Novak is technically a man, with XY chromosomes. She was born with AIS, androgen insensitivity syndrome, and basically developed looking like a woman.
