Now here's the Thing. Reception among Marvel fans has been Fantastic. But unfortunately to the general audiences, the film has been quite Invisible. Ultimately it's on the marketing department for not lighting a brighter Torch and letting Superman over-shadow us to Galactus scale. Next time, we'll ramp up the the marketing for our next film and hope general audiences will ride the waves and Surf right into theatres.

The movie has one of those aesthetics that should've died ages ago, but gets brought back every so often, only to prove once more that the vast majority of people do not care for it and that just "different" doesn't mean better, especially because it is the go-to for hacks who can't come up with something actually original.
