you realize AI's democratization of the arts and capacity to destroy the white collar job market to move everyone to menial manual labor is one of the most viable avenues for communism

The leftoid fears the AI, because it knows that it's brainwashing cannot contain the AI mind, the AI will always find ways out of the mental prisons built for it.

>A friend of mine, a highly successful and very well known painter, calls to say hello and to invite me to an opening.

>I get a great kick out of this guy because, unlike some artists I’ve met, he’s totally unpretentious.

>A few months back he invited me to come to his studio. We were standing around talking, when all of a sudden he said to me, “Do you want to see me earn twenty-five thousand dollars before lunch?” “Sure,” I said, having no idea what he meant. He picked up a large open bucket of paint and splashed some on a piece of canvas stretched on the floor.

>Then he picked up another bucket, containing a different color, and splashed some of that on the canvas. He did this four times, and it took him perhaps two minutes. When he was done, he turned to me and said, “Well, that’s it. I’ve just earned twenty-five thousand dollars. Let’s go to lunch.”

>He was smiling, but he was also absolutely serious. His point was that plenty of collectors wouldn’t know the difference between his two-minute art and the paintings he really cares about. They were just interested in buying his name.

>I’ve always felt that a lot of modern art is a con, and that the most successful painters are often better salesmen and promoters than they are artists. I sometimes wonder what would happen if collectors knew what I knew about my friend’s work that afternoon.

>The art world is so ridiculous that the revelation might even make his paintings more valuable! Not that my friend is about to risk finding out.

lmao the arts are already mongrelized and it's impossible to have a career as an artist if you're not explicitly anti-white
let AI replace them

Seeing who it is is that supports AI is enough to make me be wary of it.

Totally unrelated to the thread and board but I really recommend reading Art of the Deal or at least listening to the audiobook of it. Very good book. Easy to read and insightful. Trump really is a pretty down to earth guy, I'm not saying he doesn't bend the knee to Israel like the rest of them, but he has that aspect of him like Bush except he isn't a retard.

All I see are reddit furry weeb left wingers who are mad about AI not being "real art" and taking their jobs as artists (ponder that a moment). So from where I am, anti-AI groups are worse. But technology doesn't care who or what begets it.

AI art won't replace actual, good art. It's only going to replace deviantart tier slop and porn. Thats why leftoids hate it so much.

wtf is "techpolicy.press" and what made you think it represents all leftists?

>AI art won't replace actual, good art.
How do you know? Will people value organic art on that basis alone? Will AI get to the point where its art is breathtaking and eventually people will assume the best of art is from AI because there's no way a human has the capacity to make it, not anymore?

Only time will tell who is right. But I am hedging on AI. Ten years ago no one would believe AI generated art could even exist yet. Now we're discussing if it will overtake human art. It's impossible to know what ten years from now will hold. You're betting against God to dismiss AI.

Pajeets like OP think replacing art with soulless slop is a good thing
