Plexchad uprising
My wife just bought me a 20TB External HDD for a little under $270. She is obsessed with making me download a bunch of movies and shows for her. She is now disappointed when Netflix removes things and thinks the best solution is to just download everything and keep it forever on Plex. I explained that hard drive space was becoming a real constraint and she volunteered to buy one for me in exchange for me downloading shows and movies we want to watch.

I think I am permanently done with streaming services. Being a Plexchad has made me too powerful. With the amount of money saved on streaming service slop this thing will pay itself off in a year or two. I will wake up in the morning and my wife is just streaming Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead from Plex. I love her so much bros. We have become a Plex power couple.

Based as fuck but plex is fucking gay and she should learn how to double click a fucking file in a drive.

It's like Pluto combined with an HTPC frontend, they have their own shows and movies you can watch, and you watch your own locally stored stuff through their platform.

Can you think of a woman who's pussy doesn't immediately dry up whenever she sees a guy plug a laptop into a TV? Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Still have no idea why these programs exist. Connect your computer to the screen like a normal person.

Because it's a dedicated machine with a simple interface that you can navigate with a gamepad or a remote. Same reason people use retroarch.

Is it mostly just mainstream stuff obtained using one of those automated ARR software downloaders?
Are you just trying to replicate the catalog carousels you'd normally find on netflix, hulu, etc.
