I can not believe this was such a highly rated film, and people are talking about it as if it's an Oscar contender.

This schlock was so poorly constructed, was completely confused about what genre it wanted to be, had terrible pacing and did nothing original. The characters actions made no sense at all, and the vampire in the end died from being retarded. Even the post-credit look into the future scene is just so corny. What exactly was redeemable about it? Why was it popular?

This battle scene makes no sense. There's like 50 vampires swarming in against only 8 of them, 2 die right away. Barely any shots are being fired and noone attacks him when he's talking to ythe dying chick and the vampires just run away

Most vampire movies suck so bad when they do something a little different everybody celebrates. I think the movie was mediocre but enjoyed it a lot.

The vampires were generic as hell but I think the setting was great and I got mixed feelings about all the music mumbojumbo. I hoped they did something else than "from dusk till dawn end scene" for the third act like maybe one brother is turned and the other tries to find him or something. But at least it was from dusk till dawn.

The academy hates horror so you anons have nothing to worry about. They might give it a best score nom or maybe even editing or costume but horror film actors never get considered for anything because horror is next to comedy in terms of artistic integrity to these fart sniffing fart sniffers.

That’s one of the gripes of the film that I have, it was supposed to be an homage to DBD but then they added 15 extras that get smoked by the vampires in like 10 seconds but somehow MBJ is able to hand to hand fight them and his brother vamp somehow can have free will? Dumb. Tiny plot hole that doesn’t really affect the story but I digress.
