How do you guys pick your daily movie?
Usually I like to look at the last one I watched, pick out a random cast member and watch something else from their filmography.

I don't pick movies, they pick me

I haven't watched a movie in 5 years probably.

So that means 05. Which means either 1905 or 2005. So I'll use a little subjectivity and go with 2005. And then roll again for the movie.

i just browse movies until i find something interesting or ive spent too much time and just dive in

I dont believe this but I just rolled a fucking 5 again. Even if there was something wrong with my dice there's no way. Spooky shit happens with this stuff I swear. So I have to watch this? I dont think so. Im just giving an example. I liked Pride and Prejudice and Zombies though. At least in theory. It shoulda been made to be rated R

I also have a movie book I can use with the page numbers and stuff.

I browse /tv/ for a bit, add anything that looks good to my watchlist, then randomize it and pick some movie that's on there because it has the same name as one anon actually recommended weeks or months ago, and try it

Realistically, how would you react?

I just open my Letterboxd watchlist, filter it against "available to stream and include films I own" and pick whatever I'm in the mood for.
