The one on the left looks like someone drew a cartoon version of Janine from the movie and didn't think of making a more child friendly version (although her entire schtick was disaffected New Yorker with a fascinating job who treats it as mundane. A joke so good they rehash it with Winston being a job seeker and not a paranormal investigator.) Not even the jewelry which would have to be drawn in every cel but look at the skirt (open to the audience vs closed to the audience.) That's not how skirts look on kid's shows. Not unless it's a kid wearing bloomers (because bloomers are always funny.)

Think of all of the comic relief characters who didn't get a spin-off. If Orko didn't get a series of shorts, Slimer must've tested that well to get top billing over the Real Ghostbusters.
