Honestly bitching about frozen meat is one of the stupider things Gordon does. Frozen vegetables are one thing; but most meats freeze really well.

I'm pretty sure frozen vegetables are actually fine, because they're snap frozen soon after harvest, rather than bounced around cold storage for months and then presented as 'fresh.'

It really depends on the vegetable. Frozen spinach is great, I eat a ton of it; but no frozen vegetable is ever as good as a fresh one.
In comparison I can't taste any real difference between a steak I've frozen and thawed and one that I cooked right after I bought it.

It's just a stupid gimmick for the stupid US version of Kitchen Nightmares, because literally EVERY kitchen freezes stuff, including Gordons'. It just makes sure that he has something to bitch about in every episode. He never does that shit in the superior UK version.

Remember that time Gordon gave some guy on kitchen nightmares shit for making a burger that he couldn't fit his mouth on, only to go on and hypocritically make the same style burger but with his signature on it?

A nice restaurant wouldnβt use frozen beef but most fast food places do. Nothing wrong with it, itβs how theyβre able to make it with no perservatives

Gordon's eggs are definitely better there. I like them more cooked than Gordon does; but the other guy's eggs are more a sauce than scrambled eggs

What? Of course they would. You're out of your gourd if you think restaurants buy fresh beef every day and serve only fresh beef. It's a fucking business, they're not tossing out leftover steak and they have frozen backup portions so they don't run out. The idea that restaurants never serve frozen beef is tv/movie nonsense.

A refigretsror doesn't fart when you pull the meat out.

Freezing meat being bad practice is a food myth, like how you shouldn't eat more than 3 eggs a day, or scaremongering about MSG, or shitting your pants the second you hear the words high-fructose corn syrup, as if just a teaspoon of consumption will implode your body or whatever.
