I can tell you there are a lot very scared Disney and Marvel people right now. They invested a ridiculous amount in Doomsday and all capeshit being shutout of China and under performing overseas is going to keeping them up late

Supposedly its dry for the rest of the year except for animated stuff and dumb tv shows, then we do this same dance again next year. Supergirl basically goes up against the next Spiderman movie in summer

For all streaming services I propose small budget productions, no big name stars, mix untested artistic talent old and young with established technical staff and have a run at making new stuff. Some will hit, some will miss, but you’ll make more product for less money and the current output is so shit things can’t get much worse.

He went second. JP was first and F4 was third. Asking people to go to the theater 3 times within a month is stupid yet every year they keep cramming a bunch of "blockbuster" movies together during summer vacation to try and drain families of cash

Disney only has itself to blame. It was suppose to come out last November. Then it was suppose to come out on Valentine’s Day but they decided to put Captain Negro out that day and it was slated for May 2nd before they finally put it out after Superman

It used to work, in part because they had a number of big films to show. When I was a teenager, it wasn't uncommon to see two movies a day. Yes, it was cheaper, but they would also release 2-3 movies a week worth seeing. Now you genuinely have 2-3 movies a YEAR worth watching. You have to be a genuinely subhuman retard to enjoy Jurassic Slop, Capeslop A and Capeslop B or an extremely bored kid.

WHY IS NO ONE WATCHING!?!?!
Do Dis execs really?
p.p.s. Kathleen Kenendy and Eisner both need to be perp walked out of that company.

No, it's not bad but if someone had told me 10 years ago that a Dune movie would gross more than a fantastic 4 and superman film, I'd have called bullshit but it's the reality now. Execs better come up with some new fad quickly.
>>213395127 >MCU has grossed 31 billion. >A few flops doesn't matter.
It's not like they put 31 billion in some bank account to save it. The money has been spent long ago. It was given back to investors, and used as bonus money for executives.
