Funny thing about satellite tracking cannons is you can use them to track without necessarily shooting the cannons. Might've been useful to use that technology when you're inexplicably transporting your most valuable asset to some ambiguous concentration camp with a minimal security detail.
Come to think of it, how do Deckard and K even know they haven't been backtraced to Ana? Like that was actually part of the plan, the transport being attacked, and them leading Temu Tyrell straight to his endgame.
