Universal’s dinosaur tentpole, which rebooted the prehistoric series with Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali at the helm, has grossed $766 million globally after five weekends of release. It’s one of three Hollywood films this year — Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch” ($1 billion) and Warner Bros. “A Minecraft Movie” ($955 million) are the other two — to clear the $750 million mark so far.

it's true! and it wasnt even a good movie! the writings on the wall. WB has to make the Dino Crisis movie NOW before the trend passes up! Combine the video game movie trend with the Dino trend!

I would not call it a major flop, but it's definitely underperforming.
Literally the only two movies this year that can be consider a success are Minecraft and the Lilo & Stitch live action slop.

They might fuck with the numbers, but only to under report, never over report. Under reporting lets them stiff directors and actors who sign contracts giving them a percentage of the box office profits
