But the recent movies not only lack action but the new supers are absolute ugly losers.

Marvel, girlboss crap, and lack of creativity is killing the entire genre. This is why I was routing for Snyder. He actually wanted to do something different, while everyone wanted to just "copy Marvel". Now DC have their wish, and it's flopped. superheroes as a thing is getting played out, how many movies with men in tights who fight then beat the bad guy can you even watch.
I mean it took till like the 80s for alan moore to create watchmen and let the bad guy win and that was mind blowing to the world of comics.

Phases 4 and 5 were mostly dogshit, and other capeshit movies from DC and Sony's Sinister Six garbage were horrible too. All goodwill has been obliterated, now people will only show up for nostalgiafests like No Way Home and Deadpool and Wolverine, which is a huge fucking problem.
The only solution is to cut back on the budgets and release actual good movies that are good in isolation until people like them again.
