I never thought a piece of media would have an impact on me in my early twenties, but damn if Ergo Proxy didn't make feel like an adventure. I don't know what it was but it strangely felt relatable and nostalgic. Also I kinda fell in love with the Poster girl. These japs really do manage to hit the spot sometime.

Do you find movies/games entertaining as adult like you did when you were a kid? Or are you underage poster?

>First few episodes are mystery box bullshit and subtle horny ice queen seeks monster cock. Intriguing but still tantamount to cryptic edging.
>Once they leave the city its nothing but navel gazing episodes that are usually some manner of dream or illusion or some other non-happening, except the game show episode that one is real for some inexplicable reason. This is actually the best of the series.
>Writers forget they actually have to resolve all that mystery box bullshit they set up and panic coming up with whatever and trying to wrap it before they ran out of money. Still couldn't even make it to 26 episodes.
Its certainly a ride.

Everything good comes in a small amounts sadly. Look at Dexter for example. A dog shit of a show for retarded masses that goes on and on forever.

I like this show a lot I really miss stuff in this style. Anime these days is too colorful I want that dark shit. Absolutely kino intro/outro songs too, even if the radiohead song is wiped from all streaming lol.

It isn't hard to understand, if you've watched enough movies or TV it gets harder to be moved by stuff. I still am moved by stuff but it is extremely inexplicable and is purely from my personal conception of things. For some reason I found the show Atom extremely moving but my friend who I was watching it with didn't feel the same. I don't blame people if they get moved by things I don't like because what moves you is extremely personal and different for everybody.

This. Ergo Proxy had so much potential, but it went steeply downhill after the first few episodes and it never recovered. All the filler didn't help, either.

usually when people mention being in their early twenties it's to show how young they are, not using it as proof that they're mature and jaded, you retarded fucking zoomer
