Once they run out of comedy franchises to reboot, what will Hollywood do, having practically exhausted all other genres before this?

go back to rebooting something else. the people paying for movies to be made won't bother paying for anything they don't think will make a profit

They reboot the reboots. Have you not been paying attention? It's already been happening.

Hollywood won't exist in the near future. All the entertainment will be done through AI and streaming services.
It's not that you wouldn't be able to make a movie the "old fashioned" way, it's just that there will be no demand for it since people will be gooning 24/7 or watching distilled slop.

Fucking this
Look at the absolute slop released this year. Live action Lilo and Stich, Jurassic Park #7, a fourth Superman reboot. It already feels like most of this shit is written by AI anyway

They could unironically reboot 50 Shades of Grey as a TV Show. Think about The White Lotus, mixed with Big Brother style pacing. The characters fall in love slower and it feels more romantic. Once they have sex its way more explicit. You could also have more pairings besides the vanilla White girl/guy, maybe a black non binary and lesbian or sexy Korean gays. There could be more interesting plots than you could put into a movie, he is supposed to be a CEO so I guess add in a plot about how he really wants to get a big time IPO but his sexual weirdness could ruin his entire life. Make an episode just about how his company does crunch time and gets to really win a big government contract thanks to the CEO getting good head.

Expand what erotica can truly be.

By the time they run out of franchises to reboot, enough time will have passed that they could reboot them all over again

Copyright laws are going to get cut way the fuck back eventually and then it won’t matter. The modern entertainment industry isn’t sustainable because it’s been manipulated to help rich people get richer for too long, and in too many ways. Now there isn’t even enough of an entrance left to get the amount of new artists into the machine that the machine itself needs to keep going, and since copyright laws currently keep ideas locked down for over a century that means they’re burning through old fuel faster than ever. Eventually it’s gonna run out and the choice will either be to loosen restrictions or let the whole thing die. And even if they somehow managed to avoid that fork, copyright laws will still end up getting cut because we’re already well past the point where practically every economist and expert agrees that our modern copyright laws are horrible for the economy.

No in the future generating AI will become too expensive because you have to pay licensing fees to every pucture the AI is trained on.

Your AI is trained on 3000 hours of MGM slop? Pay the jew 30,000 for it etc etc.

What this guy said is also another reason copyright laws are going to get slashed. Rich or powerful people who want to keep pushing AI further aren’t going to let copyright stand in their way.

The US Appeals Court already ruled on the copyright of AI art, and they stated that if something is generated by AI, it cannot be copyrighted.
