Special effects still hold up, and this idea to use both popular and obscure dinosaurs was great. It is really weird that no one understood why this series was good, thats why every dinosaur documentary is CGI hell interrupted by talking heads

Primal Rage is more accurate than this slopfest. Half the dinosaurs don't even have feathers that had feathers. It's ridiculous and rightfully shat on.

Depends on the dinosaur, so goes my understanding it's mostly just theropods that they have evidence for feathers. T-Rex specifically however we have skin impressions of and it just looks like scales.

I watched the 2025 series of the same name and it's nowhere near as good. Big sections of paleontologists 're-enacting' their finds and discoveries that are pretty cringe.
