South Park's criticism wasn't incorrect; merely hypocritical. Just because every 10th SP episode make have a good joke that's relevant to their plot doesn't change the fact the vast majority of their "humor" is FG tier. This isn't even a "the new seasons are shit, but they had 10/15 good ones" take; go back and watch early SP and you'll be surprised how many of their jokes really are random FG style takes
